SEWING SENSATIONS (Youth ages 5+)

(Basic sewing and crafting for inexperienced and entry-level beginners)

Want to design and make your own decorative pillow or stuffed animal? If so, this session is for you—It’s just that simple!

This session presents vocational learning and interactive hands-on experience as participants learn basic hand sewing techniques to sew on buttons and make clothing repairs; study the various components of a sewing machine, and use a basic straight stitch to complete a simple project (pillow, headwrap, stuffed animal, etc.) of their choice.

Ages: 5 – 17

Dates: July 10 – 14
