Thespian Induction
Upward Thrive Academy, Inc. is a member of the International Thespian Society (Troupe# 10110); a middle and high school honors association, and our troupe is facilitated by Thespian Alumni.
The minimum eligibility requirement for induction into the International Thespian Society is one hundred hours of quality work in theatre arts and related disciplines.
50 hours are required for induction as a junior thespian in the International Thespian Society. Junior Thespian status is for students in grades 6-8.
Ultimately, by becoming a member of Actin’ Up Theatre Troupe, youth are able to earn a plethora of achievement awards in addition to becoming a thespian. Such awards help to validate versatility in theatre.
Fundraising is not counted towards thespian points with the exception of participation in a UTA theatre fundraising event.
